Fifty Years of Trying

As my birthday draws nearer and I begin to look back on the nearly half century of my life, there are some accomplishments I am truly proud to share.
I have a great husband, same one for nearly 28 years.
I have two bright, creative, Christian children.
I have completed several hours beyond my Master's degree.
Tonight, I have another goal I have finally attained.
I FINALLY WON AT MONOPOLY!!!!!

  • That's wonderful! but one question...did you win without cheating? When I was a kid and we played monopoly, my cousin always won, but he was always the banker and he always cheated!

  • No cheating! I won fair and square and I wasn't even ruthless. Lyn did accuse me of attitude, tho!

  • Is that how long it is going to take me to beat Aaron at Monopoly? :) he he he...I've never won either...It's hard to beat someone who has the board memorized, but it's still fun to try!!
