It's finally finished!

Aaron's sweater is finished! It was made with the $10 sample of cashmere yarns from England. Can't remember the name of the town, but it is where Brother Cadfael is from. It was not knit by a pattern, but totally "organically" and on the fly. I actually measured Aaron with a piece of yarn and tied knots in important places to mark what I was doing.
He is leaving in an hour or so for points west. Searcy, Sacramento, Seattle, and Portland. He thinks it is his longest trip to date, plus he gets the whole Pacific experience too.
Christmas was good. Lyn and Aaron were both here. Teresa was here. We had a great time. Lots of loot under the tree.
Tree looked good. Only fell down once.
No snow, but we've finally had winter rains. Not complaining, we are still far behind and it may bring snow sometime in January. I'll take snow the first week - then none while Lyn and Aaron travel - then it can snow the rest of the month. We are due one!

Hope all are well!

  • Sweater looks great!!!!
Happy, safe travels to Lyn and AAron!
We had a nice white christmas in Colorado with our family. Vivian and Beckie and our nephew, Wil, have were here for the night last night. We've had a great time laughing and playing. Reagan forsoook (is that a work?) us for Nate, but that's ok...we had fun anyway and Rommie Parker and Richard Whaley came over and ate dinner with us last night. Vivian is gone to get her Garden Ridge fix right now.
Glad you had a good holiday!
