OK, so it HAS been a while...

Lyn said I needed to blog. I thought, didn't I just do that right before school started? Apparently not. Apparently, it has been a while. So, though I don't think I have any blog followers now that I facebook, here goes.

In July, Scott went back to work and back to sleeping on a regular bed. Both have taken some adjusting. Climbing stairs and going down hill are still scary, but he is making it pretty well.

Lyn was home for the summer. It was wonderful. She didn't work and we had some quality time together that we couldn't have had without the quantity.

She plans to go to Africa next summer to teach weaving and pottery. Yes, to Africans. No, they have never had the skill. Yes, I think that is strange, too. Yes, she could use a contribution to the cause, thank you!

Aaron was not home for the summer. He was in Alabama working as a youth minister for a church. I believe he has found or at least at last accepted his path. He is awaiting word from a church in DeQueen, Arkansas, but if someone out there has a different offer, he is open, willing and ready. He is also apparently pretty good at the job according to the elders, deacons, and kids at the church where he interned. Not just Mamabrag. Mama-brag is that he made chicken and dumplings tonight for our supper. They were not only edible, they were actually pretty good. Not bad for his first try and without his mama's help!

I am back at work. We have been in a month today. Last week, I had two Fridays and no Saturday, so I can have no Monday twice in two weeks. Got that? Well, it goes along with the possibaphyility of not having a paycheck in November if the county doesn't pass the budget. That would mean enforced time off which we would have to make up later, but I have knitting I can be doing, so, no worries unless it lasts a protracted period.

Deputy wants to help type now, so I am going to have to call it a paragraph...
